The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC) has approved a new tariff for the transmission of electricity for the year 2025, which will be 30% higher than the current rate. Reports TSN. This information was shared by Contracts.UA.
This was announced during a NERC meeting.
The electricity transmission tariff for 2025 has been set at 686.23 UAH/MWh. This tariff represents the payment for the services of "Ukrenergo" in transporting electricity from the producer to the commercial consumer.
In Ukraine, electricity tariffs for households will remain at the current level at least until May 1, 2025. This means that during the winter period of 2024-2025, the cost of 1 kWh will be 4.32 UAH/kWh, regardless of the transmission tariff.
However, it is important to note that there are different electricity tariffs in the country, including multi-zone and special tariffs for users with electric heating.
Additionally, the transmission service tariff for green metallurgy enterprises in 2025 will be 359.55 UAH/MWh, which is 1.4% lower than the current tariff of 364.7 UAH/MWh.
The dispatch management service tariff has also been reduced by 5%, setting it at 98.97 UAH/MWh for 2025.
Earlier, it was reported that in spring 2025, the tariff for electricity for Ukrainians could rise to 4.7 UAH per kilowatt-hour.
