The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying the SpainSat Next Generation 1 (SpainSat NG-1) satellite, was launched at 03:34 Kyiv time from a launch site in Florida.
It is noted that the rocket successfully placed the satellite into a geosynchronous orbit, where it was deployed 31.5 minutes post-launch.
The satellite will autonomously reach its final position at an altitude of 35,786 km above Earth.

SpainSat NG-1 is a collaborative project between the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Spanish company Hisdesat. "SpainSat NG represents a new generation of secure satellite communications in Europe," stated ESA.
The satellite features enhanced communication capabilities, with its antenna allowing for faster data transmission, improved security, and the ability to precisely direct communication beams where needed.
As reported by Ukrinform, SpaceX launched another batch of 23 Starlink internet satellites into space on January 24.
