It is worth noting that according to the State Statistics Service, consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 1.8% in October. Annual inflation reached 9.7%.

Food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased in price by 10.8% over the year.

According to the NBU, inflationary pressure will persist in the coming months due to a lower supply of certain food products compared to last year, increased aggregate demand due to significant budget expenditures, high wage growth rates, and electricity shortages during the heating season.

The NBU expects that by the end of the year, inflation may exceed 10%, but inflation is projected to decline in the spring of 2025, reaching 6.9% by the end of 2025.
