This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing "Voice of America". According to reports from Kontrakty.UA,
the publication states that Rheinmetall has indicated this is not the first such threat from the Kremlin and that their facilities in Ukraine are well protected.
It is worth noting that this summer, the management of Rheinmetall announced plans to open four military factories in Ukraine.
The project is expected to commence in the short term, with ammunition production anticipated within 24 months.
Kremlin Threats
Today, the spokesperson for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov reacted to the construction of factories by the German company Rheinmetall in Ukraine. He referred to them as a legitimate target for Russian strikes.
When asked by a journalist whether the Rheinmetall factory built in Ukraine is a legitimate target for Russian troops, just like any other defense factory in the country, Peskov responded: "Of course, yes."
