This is evidenced by the data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, which analyzed the price increase of key goods and services from November 2023 to November 2024. Reports TSN. This information is provided by Kontrakty.UA.
According to official statistics, the price of electricity has risen by 63.6%, while the cost of vegetables has jumped by 62.9%. Such a rapid increase is attributed to changes in tariffs and seasonal price fluctuations in the food market.
Among the key goods that have also significantly increased in price over the past 12 months are:
butter — +30.7%;
* fruits — +24.7%;
* food products overall — +14.4%.
The rise in the official dollar exchange rate by 15.07% from November 2023 to November of the current year has exerted additional pressure on prices, particularly in import-dependent sectors.
Among the goods, fuel has also seen a significant price increase of 10.3%, while among services: medical (outpatient) services increased by 14.9%, and education by 11.9%. The lowest growth rates compared to the main consumer categories and telecommunications services are at 4.7%.
Experts emphasize that the primary factors contributing to price increases remain changes in energy tariffs, fluctuations in the exchange rate, and the overall instability of the economic situation.
