This clarification was made by the Deputy Head of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, MP Lesia Zaburanna, during a broadcast on the “Kyiv24” television channel.
“Every single hryvnia provided by our international partners has a specific purpose. We cannot use the funds allocated for social expenditures for the construction of fortifications. This is impossible because we receive tranches with very clear targeted allocations,” she emphasized.
Recall that on October 25, in an evening address, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new program "eSupport." These funds can be spent on paying for Ukrainian goods and services, including utilities, train tickets, or medications produced in Ukraine.
