"Investors are calling for the recapitalization of the construction company, over 80% of whose shares belong to the city. According to the financial audit, to resume construction on 22 frozen complexes, the Kyiv City Council needs to allocate more than 2 billion UAH in next year's budget," the story states.
The company "Kyivmiskbud" - the largest developer in the country - halted residential construction since the onset of Russia's large-scale invasion due to a lack of funds. Approximately 40,000 investors have become victims of this situation, including several thousand military families, the publication reports.
Previously, investors of "Kyivmiskbud" had already staged a rally, during which they attempted to draw attention to their plight by blocking Khreshchatyk Street.
