This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing comments from investor representatives in a report by "1+1". According to Kontrakty.UA,
"Investors are demanding the recapitalization of the construction company, over 80% of which is owned by the city. According to the financial audit, to resume construction on 22 frozen complexes, the Kyiv City Council needs to allocate more than 2 billion UAH in next year's budget," the report states.
The company "Kyivmiskbud" - the largest developer in the country - halted residential construction at the onset of the large-scale invasion by Russia due to a lack of funds. Approximately 40,000 investors have become victims of this situation. Among them are several thousand military families, the publication notes.
Previously, investors from "Kyivmiskbud" staged a protest, attempting to draw attention to their plight by blocking Khreshchatyk Street.
