Due to the increase in excise taxes on fuel, the price of autogas in Ukraine rose by an average of 65 kopecks per liter in the first days of January, reaching 36.03 UAH. Reports TSN. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.
This is supported by the results of the monitoring conducted by the consulting group "A-95".
The most significant increase in autogas prices was recorded at KLO stations, where the price rose by 1.3 UAH/l, now standing at 37.99 UAH/l.
At the stations of OKKO, WOG, SOCAR, BVS, Mango, "Avantage 7", "Olas", and "Katrall", the price of autogas increased by 1 UAH/l.
At UPG gas stations, prices increased by 1.20 UAH/l. In other networks, autogas prices rose between 20-90 kopecks per liter.
The lowest gas price of 32.29 UAH/l was recorded at the "BRSM-Nafta" gas station in Mykolaiv region. The second place goes to Marshal in Zhytomyr region with a price of 32.39 UAH/l.
Reasons for the rise in autogas prices:
- increase in excise taxes. From January 1, excise rates have increased, adding 1.3 UAH/l to the cost;
- supplier prices. The rise in the cost of autogas in external markets has also impacted prices in Ukraine.
Operators note that due to low margins, the situation remains challenging. Additionally, the advance payment of income tax, which networks will start paying from December 2024, adds up to 1 UAH/l to the costs of less profitable gas stations.
Recall that in September 2024, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed law No. 11256-2 on increasing excise taxes on fuel.
