Consumer inflation in Ukraine increased by 12.0% for the year 2024, with inflation reaching 1.4% in December. Reports TSN. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.
This is confirmed by data from the State Statistics Service (Derzhstat).
According to the agency's estimates, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 14.1% in 2024 (in December, they increased by 1.8%), while prices for clothing and footwear decreased by 4.3% (in December, they fell by 3.9%). Prices for housing and communal services rose by 18.9% (in December, they increased by 0.1%), healthcare-related services saw a rise of 13.2% (with a December increase of 1.6%), and education costs climbed by 12.0% (with a December rise of 0.1%).
Additionally, by the end of 2024, the core consumer price index increased by 10.7%.
