In Ukraine, the cost of electricity has increased in 2024. The current tariff for electricity is 4.32 UAH per kilowatt-hour. This rate is expected to remain in effect at least until May of this year. Reports TSN, as stated by Kontrakty.UA.
This was confirmed by MP Serhiy Nahornyak during an interview on "24 Kanal".
According to him, there are no reasons to raise the current tariff at this time.
"There is absolutely no need to increase the tariff to 6 UAH, or even to 6.30 UAH this year," he emphasized.
Nahornyak explains that the current tariff is sufficient to cover expenses. This price for electricity should remain at least until the end of this year, ideally until the conclusion of the heating season from 2025 to 2026.
