Zelensky announced the visit of the CIA director to Ukraine.

He wrote about this on X (Twitter).

Zelensky stated that this is Burns' final visit to Ukraine in his capacity as CIA Director.

"Typically, such meetings are not publicly disclosed, and all our meetings – both in Ukraine and in other European countries, as well as in America and other parts of the world – took place without official announcements. But now, following this last visit, it’s necessary to speak openly," he remarked.

The head of state also wished Burns and his family all the best and expressed hope for a future meeting.
