In 2025, it was stated that Ukraine requires an additional 20 batteries of the Patriot air defense system.
According to him, if the United States provides these batteries to Ukraine, it would cost around 35 billion dollars. Zelensky pointed out that they believed the U.S. had already invested these 35 billion into a support fund, and that Ukraine could contribute its own 35 billion, thus creating a total fund of 70 billion dollars.
