"I am willing to step down as president if Ukraine joins NATO," stated Zelensky.

Zelensky also expressed his readiness to step down from his position for the sake of peace if it guarantees Ukraine's entry into NATO.

Furthermore, the president stated that he hopes U.S. President Donald Trump will facilitate a swift end to the war, but urged that pressure should be directed specifically at Russia.

The head of state announced a proposal to hold a meeting in the coming days in one of the European capitals to discuss a potential security guarantee format for Ukraine.

Zelensky also refuted claims regarding the amount of American aid, clarifying that Ukraine received $100 billion, not $350 billion as some sources suggest.

President Vladimir Zelensky stated that by 2025, Ukraine aims to do the "possible and impossible" to achieve a long-lasting and just peace. This peace must come with security guarantees for the state.
