The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a bill that grants the right to defer mobilization for civilians who have been held captive by Russia, as well as the right to discharge from service for military personnel whose non-full-blood relatives have died or gone missing in the war.
This was reported by Members of Parliament Alexey Goncharenko and Irina Gerashchenko.
The bill amends Article 26 of the Law on "Military Duty and Military Service," granting servicemen the right to resign from service following the death or disappearance of their half-brother or half-sister.
Furthermore, the deputies also voted in favor of a deferment from mobilization for those civilians who have been in captivity.
Let us remind you that in the "Reserve+" app, approximately 40,000 military personnel used the online deferment service within two days of its launch.
Previously, we reported that the "Reserve+" app
may soon feature an online recruitment function. The Ministry of Defense plans to launch it in the fall of 2024.
We also remind you that the Ministry of Defense
identified three fake web applications for "Reserve+," which were still under development. The scammers did not manage to start sending them out.
