According to investigative data, as a result of actions taken by the military from the 234th Airborne Assault Regiment based in Pskov, women, men, and children aged between 14 and 69 were killed. The victims lost their lives while trying to commute to work, evacuate, find food, or reach relatives.

The commander ordered fire to be opened on anyone within sight, personally overseeing the execution of the order, organizing the establishment of firing positions, and managing military duty.

The investigation has gathered evidence confirming his involvement in war crimes, including the issuance of orders to shoot civilians. He is charged with violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder, for which life imprisonment is prescribed.

Previously, a soldier of the armed forces of the Russian Federation was identified and reported for violating the laws and customs of war. He inflicted torture on a resident of Velyka Dymerka during the occupation.

As of June 2024, law enforcement has already documented nearly 130,000 Russian war crimes in Ukraine. On average, Russians commit 150 such crimes daily.
