The enemy launched 33 assaults on our positions in the Pokrovske direction within a single day, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.

Terrorists continue to devastate Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air, and artillery strikes. As of now, the number of combat encounters has risen to 82.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has stormed our units' positions once, with fighting occurring near Volchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers have attacked the Defense Forces once near Hlushkivka, and clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Hrekivka, Pervomaiske, Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoplatonivka, and Makeivka throughout the day. Seven battles are still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense and inflicting losses on the enemy.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy attacks towards Stupochky and Chasiv Yar. Five attacks have already ended unsuccessfully for the occupiers.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 33 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Zeleno Pole, Vozdvizhenska, Myroliubivka, Luch, Lisovka, Dachne, Zelenе, Pokrovsk, Novy Trud, Pervomaiske, and Shevchenko. The Defense Forces are holding back the assault and have repelled 25 enemy attacks, with eight clashes still ongoing. The enemy is most active in the Dachne area, where seven clashes have occurred.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy army attacked 13 times near Petropavlivka, Ukraїnka, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Seven attempts by the occupiers to advance have already been repelled.

In the Vremivka direction, there have been nine enemy attacks near the settlements of Konstantynopolske, Velyka Novosilka, and Vremivka. Four battles are still ongoing.

In the Siversk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Dnipro directions, the occupation forces did not undertake any active actions.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks.

In the past 24 hours, from December 27 to 28, the Russian army has lost 1,690 occupiers, 19 armored combat vehicles, and 66 units of automotive equipment in the war in Ukraine.
