Ukraine plans to establish "grain hubs" in Africa.

President Vladimir Zelensky announced that Ukraine is interested in establishing "grain houses" in African countries – these are hubs for food storage.

Украина планирует создать в Африке "зерновые хабы".

During a conversation with foreign journalists at the 3rd International Conference on Food Security "Grain from Ukraine," the head of state announced a new initiative to support starving countries. This information was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.

“Ukraine aims to enhance its presence in Africa not just politically. Certainly, we are interested in the economy. Therefore, the goal is to establish new 'grain houses'—so-called hubs for storing various food products—alongside opening embassies,” Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that Ukraine is keen to develop bilateral relations primarily with those African countries that are interested in this. "We don’t want to just inundate you with food; we want to share technologies, processing methods, our expertise in land cultivation, and exchange experiences with your countries," said the President of Ukraine.

Regarding political cooperation, Zelensky noted that he has already signed orders to open ten additional embassies in African countries.

"Seven are already open, and three will be opened soon," the head of state clarified.

Recall that since the start of the export corridor in the Black Sea, 321 infrastructure facilities have been damaged in Ukrainian ports due to Russian attacks.
