The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, announced that he had his first conversation with the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys.

Sibiga congratulated Budris on the commencement of his duties and expressed gratitude for all the assistance Lithuania provides to Ukraine.
“We are committed to further developing our wonderful cooperation and working together towards peace,” he wrote.
It is worth noting that the new Lithuanian government, led by Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, took the oath of office and began its work on December 12.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda appointed the ministers of justice and environment last Wednesday, December 11, completing the lengthy formation of the government under social democrat Gintautas Paluckas.
