The Cabinet of Ministers has released a new procedure for reserving individuals from mobilization.
According to it, the deferrals issued by the Ministry of Economy and through "Diia" will expire on February 28, 2025.
This is stated in the
resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1332.
The government has established that the deferrals granted by the decisions of the Ministry of Economy are valid for the period for which they were granted, but no later than February 28, 2025. The same applies to deferrals provided through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services ("Diia").
After this date, the deferrals will be canceled. The Ministry of Economy must send a decision regarding the cancellation of the deferral to government authorities, as well as to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defense.
The government also clarified the conditions for cancellation, specifically regarding the dismissal of an employee, the closure of a critical enterprise, or the expiration of the appointment period.
The resolution comes into effect on December 1, 2024, although some of its provisions take effect from the date of publication of the document.
Let us remind you that on October 20, Ukraine temporarily suspended the reservation of conscripts through "Diia." The reason for this is the audit of previously reserved citizens. Additionally, Ukraine decided to recheck enterprises for their critical status regarding the reservation of workers.
The government has tightened the requirements for reservation from mobilization. For enterprises that have maintained their critical status, there will be a transitional period until February 28, 2025, for the reservation of workers. By that time, companies must re-register the reservation under the new rules.
Moreover, one of the criteria for reservation will be the average salary level of employees. It must be at least 2.5 minimum wages, which means a minimum of 20,000 hryvnias per month.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal
noted that, first of all, summons for mobilization through the "Obereg" system were received by those conscripts who do not pay taxes.
We also
wrote that next academic year, a general military training program will be added to the curriculum of Ukrainian universities for third-year students.
