The GBI is investigating non-statutory relationships within the 211th Brigade.

The Ternopil Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense has initiated a criminal case regarding the use of unlawful measures of influence on subordinates by the command of the 211th Pontoon Bridge Brigade.

ГБР проводит расследование по фактам неуставных отношений в 211-й бригаде.
The investigation has been assigned to the State Bureau of Investigations.

This is reported by the SBI on its website.

Employees of the SBI have initiated a criminal investigation to uncover potential instances of unlawful influence and violence by officials of the 211th Pontoon Bridge Brigade of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against their subordinates. The investigation will review materials collected during official inspections of the brigade by the Main Inspection of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as well as media reports and social media posts regarding the mistreatment of soldiers.

The SBI notes that they have not received any materials related to this situation from either official sources or brigade soldiers.

"The State Bureau of Investigations urges military personnel to promptly report to the Bureau with official complaints if they encounter similar cases within their military formations. This will not only allow for a swift response to violations but also help prevent such incidents in the future," the statement reads.

The National Police is also conducting an investigation into the brigade's leadership regarding the involvement of subordinates in the construction of their house in the Khmelnytskyi region instead of serving in a combat zone.

Previously, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, responded to media reports about the mistreatment of military personnel in the 211th Pontoon Bridge Brigade of the Support Forces.
