“Under the procedural guidance of the Nemyriv District Prosecutor's Office, a 33-year-old resident of the Vinnytsia district has been charged with the intentional murder of two individuals with particular cruelty (subparagraphs 1, 4 of part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement reads.
According to the report, the incident occurred on January 4 of this year in the evening in one of the villages of the Lyopovetska territorial community. Three men were drinking alcohol at the cottage of a relative of one of the victims. A conflict arose among them on a domestic level.

After the crime, the perpetrator fled.
Currently, the court has granted the prosecutor's request, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been applied to the suspect.
The specified crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
As reported by Ukrinform, in November 2024, for the murder of a couple in the village of Lopatyn in the Sheptytskyi district of Lviv region, a 36-year-old suspect was ordered by the court to be held in custody without the right to bail.
