Invaders shelled two communities in Dnipropetrovsk region overnight and in the morning with heavy artillery.

During the night and in the morning, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery.

This was reported by on Facebook the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"In the night and early morning, the enemy attacked Nikopol. First, the Pokrovsk community, then the Marhanets community. The aggressor used heavy artillery. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries," he noted.

Lysak emphasized that an air alert has been declared in the region due to the threat of ballistic missiles and drone attacks.
