Since the beginning of the war, 327 Ukrainians have lost their lives due to explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia, as of February 1, 2025, a total of 327 people have lost their lives in Ukraine due to mines and explosive remnants of war, while 794 individuals have sustained injuries.

According to Ukrinform, the Center for Mine Action reported this on Facebook.

As per their data, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, there have been 783 incidents related to mines and explosive remnants of war in Ukraine.

As a result of these incidents, 327 people lost their lives, and 794 sustained injuries.

The highest number of such cases was recorded in fields – 191, yards – 183, roads – 147, and forests – 127.

As reported by Ukrinform, since the onset of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, deminers have returned 35,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian land to use, with approximately 17,000 cleared in 2024.
