The European Union has approved its 16th sanctions package against Russia.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated on her official page in network X by the high representative of the EU for foreign affairs and security policy, Kaja Kallas.

“The EU is making progress: foreign ministers have adopted the 16th sanctions package against Russia. It targets everything from shadow fleets to gaming consoles used for drone control. Currently, we have the most intense sanctions ever, which are undermining Russia's military efforts,” wrote Kaja Kallas.
