Soldiers from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have, for the first time in history, destroyed a Russian Mi-8 helicopter during a battle in the Black Sea using the Magura V5 strike sea drone.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the GUR on Facebook.
Video: GUROn December 31, soldiers from the GUR special unit Group 13 struck an aerial target using the Magura V5 strike sea drone equipped with missile armament.
During the battle in the Black Sea near Cape Tarkhankut in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed by the use of P-73 SeeDragon missiles.
Another similar enemy helicopter was hit but managed to reach its base airfield, noted the GUR.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Zaporizhia region, GUR soldiers and the Operational Command “Tavria” destroyed the headquarters of the Russian invaders.
