On the night of January 11, several regions of the Russian Federation were targeted by drones – the airports in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, and Ulyanovsk temporarily suspended flights, while in the Tambov region, UAVs crashed into apartment buildings.

This was reported by the Telegram channel ASTRA, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

The resource, citing Rosaviatsiya, stated that restrictions at the airports were implemented for the "safety of civil aircraft operations." As of 7 AM (Kyiv time), the restrictions were lifted.

In the Tambov region, acting governor Yevgeny Pervyshev reported that overnight, drones crashed into two apartment buildings in Kotovsk. He claims that "the buildings have minor damage" and there is no fire. According to him, several individuals were injured by glass fragments and received assistance.

Telegram channels close to Russian security agencies, "Baza" and Mash, report that at least five people are known to be injured, as noted by Russian BBC.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense allegedly intercepted and destroyed 85 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the night. A total of 31 UAVs were destroyed over the Black Sea, 16 over Voronezh Oblast and Krasnodar Krai, 14 over the Sea of Azov, 4 over Belgorod Oblast, 2 intercepted over Tambov Oblast, and 1 each shot down over Crimea and Kursk Oblast.
