In just one day, Russian forces shelled the borders of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions 49 times.

Over the past day, the Russian forces conducted 49 shellings along the borders of the Chernihiv, parts of Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, resulting in a total of 141 explosions.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the operational command "North" on Facebook.

In the Chernihiv region, the settlements of Berilivka, Hai, Karpovychi, Semenivka, Halahanivka, Kostobobriv, Hirsk, Khrinivka, and Huta-Studenetska came under enemy fire.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Russian army attacked them using FPV drones, artillery, and employed drops of munitions from UAVs.

In the Sumy region, the settlements of Porozok, Pokrovka, Slavgorod, Velyka Pysarivka, Popivka, Malushyne, Kucheryvka, Sydorivka, Seredyna-Buda, Ulanove, Vyntorivka, Bachiivsk, Demianivka, Stara Huta, Tovstodubove, and Bila Berеза were also under fire.

It has been preliminarily established that the invaders attacked these localities with mortars, FPV drones, artillery, and made use of munitions drops from UAVs.

In the Kharkiv region, in the settlement of Klynova-Novoselivka in the Bohodukhiv district, one explosion was recorded as a result of the use of an FPV drone.

According to the Operational Command "North", during the past day, three civilians were injured, a private house was destroyed, and an administrative building, as well as transport and critical infrastructure facilities, were damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army launched seven strikes on border territories and settlements in the Sumy region overnight and in the morning – one person sustained injuries.
