Russian forces shelled the Sumy border region seven times during the night and morning.

During the night and in the morning, Russian forces conducted seven shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. A total of 39 explosions were recorded.

The communities of Nyzhniosyrivka, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, and Velykopysarivka have come under fire.

As reported by Ukrinform, this information was shared by the Sumy Regional Military Administration via Telegram.

“Krasnopillia community: the enemy struck with multiple rocket launchers (28 explosions) and artillery (4 explosions).

Velykopysarivka community: a drop of VOG was carried out from a drone (1 explosion).

Nyzhniosyrivka community: a missile strike was executed (1 explosion). Private residential houses were damaged as a result of the strike.

Yunakivka community: a launch of KAB was recorded (1 explosion), along with artillery shelling (4 explosions),” the post states.

As Ukrinform reported, on February 22, Russian forces shelled the civilian infrastructure of Krasnopillia community in the morning.
