Russian forces struck a community in the Kharkiv region, igniting a fire.

On the morning of February 1, Russian forces launched an attack on the Malodanylivka community in the Kharkiv region, resulting in a fire.

This was reported by the community leader Oleksandr Hololobov via Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"A strike occurred in one of the settlements within the community amidst residential buildings. As a result, a fire broke out. Information regarding the casualties is being clarified," the post states.

Later, Hololobov clarified that there were no casualties and the strike was carried out by a UAV.

"As a result of the drone strike in the residential area, fortunately, there are no casualties. Residential houses and fences have been damaged. The power line has been affected, which will result in a temporary power outage in the settlement," the community leader explained.
