Russian forces have shelled the Sumy border region three times.

During the night and in the morning, the invaders shelled the border areas in Sumy region three times, with 8 explosions recorded.

This is reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“During the night and in the morning, the Russians carried out 3 shellings of the border territories and settlements in Sumy region. A total of 8 explosions were recorded,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the Bilopillia and Krasnopillia communities were targeted by the shelling.

In the Bilopillia community, the enemy dropped 6 mines, while in Krasnopillia, the dropping of VOG and 2 explosions caused by drone attacks were recorded.

As reported, on the afternoon of January 3, as a result of a "Shahed" attack, three people in Sumy sought medical assistance, and one residential building was damaged.
