The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure has commenced repairs on four additional houses in the village of Yahidne, located in the Chernihiv region, as part of a comprehensive restoration effort.
Восстановление Ягидного в Черниговской области: начался ремонт еще четырех домов.

The Recovery Agency announced this on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

“We continue the comprehensive reconstruction of the village of Yahidne in Chernihiv region. Last week, we began major repairs on 4 more private houses. Overall, within the framework of this experimental project, we plan to restore 97 residential buildings in Yahidne,” the statement reads.

Currently, 69 projects are underway, including 16 apartment buildings and 53 private houses, 2 of which are being constructed "from scratch".

As emphasized by the Recovery Agency, work is ongoing daily. Builders are installing roofs, setting windows, and conducting insulation work. Preparations for new construction are also underway: a framework for concrete foundation is already being erected at one of the sites.

In addition to housing, the reconstruction of the club-library building, which was destroyed during the full-scale invasion, will soon begin. A project estimate for the reconstruction of the school building is also being developed; in the basement of this building, locals were held hostage by Russians for 28 consecutive days in the spring of 2022. After restoration, a memorial complex will be created here.

As reported, the renovation of residential buildings in the village of Yahidne, as part of the comprehensive recovery project for settlements, started in the fall of 2023, but after funding was suspended in 2024, work was put on hold: from March 1 – for apartment buildings, and from April 29 – for private houses. At that time, about 40 buildings were in the recovery process. The repair of street and road infrastructure, which began in April 2024, also had to be temporarily halted due to a lack of funding. Currently, project financing from the state budget has been restored.
