В Эстонии пройдет выставка о Мариуполе.
A photo exhibition showcasing peaceful Mariupol before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine and the subsequent bombings and missile strikes by Russian terrorists will take place at the Viimsi Library from January 14 to February 9.

As reported by Ukrinform, this information is mentioned on the Facebook page of the event.

The photographs of peaceful Mariupol are the work of professional photographer Dmytro Chycher, provided by his wife Lyudmyla.

Dmytro is a well-known volunteer and community activist in Mariupol, the founder of the Mariupol School of Photography, and a co-founder of the public organization "Eastern Gate Community Initiatives Center" and the free space "Khalabuda." He decided to remain in the city even as street battles raged and the regular Russian army entered Mariupol. On March 17, 2022, Dmytro Chycher went missing, and his fate remains unknown.

"Tetyana Lytvyn captured the devastation of her hometown on her smartphone, understanding the importance of documenting the horrific crimes committed by the Russians. It was not easy, as it was nearly impossible to charge her phone due to the lack of electricity. Nevertheless, she managed to take dozens of photos of the ravaged city," the announcement states.

The event is organized by the Congress of Ukrainians of Estonia and Avatud Eesti Fond / Open Estonia Foundation.

We remind you that in the capital of Estonia, a screening of the British-Estonian documentary "After the Rain: Putin's Stolen Children Come Home," directed by Canadian filmmaker Sara McCarthy, took place.
