Umierov congratulated the engineering and aviation service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on their professional holiday.

As reported by Ukrinform, the greetings are posted on the minister's page on Facebook.

According to him, aviation is not only about pilots but also involves thousands of engineers who work every day to ensure that planes and helicopters are combat-ready.

Aviation engineers are the ones who guarantee the technical reliability of the machines, the safety of the crews, and the successful execution of combat missions, Umierov emphasized.

The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that specialists perform incredibly complex and responsible tasks – from aircraft maintenance to the integration of modern weapons and the improvement of aviation systems.

"Thanks to their skill and dedication, Ukrainian aviation defends our skies and eliminates the enemy every day. I thank everyone who keeps the Ukrainian wings strong!" - Umierov stressed.

As reported, the Day of the Engineering Aviation Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a professional holiday celebrated annually on February 25.

This holiday honors military engineers, technicians, and specialists who ensure the technical reliability, maintenance, and repair of aviation equipment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
