Ukroboronprom will produce Roshel armored personnel carriers using Canadian technology.

UkrOboronProm announced this in a Telegram post, as reported by Ukrinform.

“The joint-stock company ‘Ukrainian Defense Industry’ has signed an agreement to establish a joint production of Roshel armored vehicles. The Ukrainian enterprise will receive the necessary technical documentation and components for the production of these vehicles,” the statement says.

According to the Minister for Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin, the armored vehicles produced by the Canadian company are already being used by Ukrainian military forces. Manufacturing this equipment in Ukraine will significantly speed up its delivery to combat units. Additionally, it will strengthen the Ukrainian economy and provide local manufacturers with access to technology.

As noted by the CEO of UOP, Oleg Hulyak, Ukraine is simultaneously continuing the development of its own tanks and combat armored vehicles.

As previously reported, the Inguar3 armored vehicle of Ukrainian production has already undergone combat testing and received its first orders.
