Most Ukrainian employers prefer hiring women for vacant positions during the recruitment process. Reports TSN. This information was provided by Kontrakty.UA.

As explained by HR consultant Anna-Maria Sabov in a comment to the television channel “We are Ukraine,” this is related to mobilization regulations.

According to her, under the conditions of mobilization during martial law, many Ukrainian companies are compelled to seek the services of law firms that assist their male employees in avoiding conscription, particularly by recognizing the enterprise as critically important.

For this reason, Anna-Maria Sabov states that Ukrainian employers prefer to hire women for vacant positions, as no such consultations are necessary for them.

“This is a very common practice. Currently, we could take pride in how gender-diverse Ukrainian companies have become, as most employers favor hiring women,” she emphasized.

It is worth noting that the Cabinet has mandated employers to facilitate mobilization efforts in Ukraine. Consequently, they are required to deliver summons to employees and, upon request, transport them to the TCC.
