This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"Nine injured, including two children – aged 8 and 13. All have been hospitalized in a hospital in a neighboring community. One person has been transferred to the regional hospital," the statement reads.
According to Chaus, the damage is significant: administrative buildings, the local hospital (not for the first time), two five-story apartment buildings, several private homes, and infrastructure facilities. Today, efforts are underway to secure the damage where the destruction is not critical, prioritizing residential areas.
The head of the administration also informed that during the night, 24 patients from the local territorial center for the elderly were evacuated from Semenivka to the appropriate facility in Chernihiv.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the evening of January 4, the Russians dropped 4 KABs on the border town of Semenivka. They targeted the central part, specifically the residential area.
