As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, in a Telegram message.
Public transport restrictions are in effect from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00:
on Velyka Zhytomyrska Street from Volodymyrska to Mykhailivska; on Mykhailivska Street from Velyka Zhytomyrska to Mykhailivskyi Lane; on Volodymyrska Street from Velyka Zhytomyrska to Volodymyrskyi Passage and Volodymyrskyi Passage.
From 07:00 to 11:00, movement is restricted on Khreshchatyk from European Square to Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street.
Additionally, from 07:00 to 11:00, the operation of the "Maidan Nezalezhnosti" metro station is temporarily limited for entry and exit. In case of an air raid alert, the station will function as a shelter, without restrictions.
In turn, the Kyiv City State Administration informed that on February 24, from the start of movement until approximately 19:00, surface passenger transport will operate with temporary changes.
Specifically, trolleybus No. 6 will run from the Minsk Massif to the metro station "Lukianivska"; trolleybus No. 18 will operate from Soshchenka Street to the Povitroflotskyi Overpass; buses No. 110, 111, and 114 will run from Myroslavska Street and Darnytsia Square to European Square; bus No. 62 will serve the sections from Contractova Square to European Square and from the Botanical Garden to Bessarabskyi Square.
These temporary changes are related to events marking the third anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The National Police of Ukraine explained that the temporary restrictions on traffic and parking of vehicles will be in place due to security measures involving foreign delegations.
