Russian Telegram channels report this, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
“Temporary restrictions have been imposed at Kazan airport. Initially, due to the threat of a UAV attack,” states a message from the propaganda resource Shot.
It is noted that “the airport temporarily does not accept or dispatch flights for security reasons.”
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 61 drones were shot down over four Russian regions on the night of January 5, as per the Telegram channel Astra.
Specifically, 37 drones were allegedly shot down over the Rostov region, 20 over the Bryansk region, another 2 over the Voronezh region, and one each over Belgorod and Oryol regions.
The acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, noted that property of residents in Taganrog and the Neklinovsky district was damaged due to falling debris.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported an attack by drones on three populated areas. According to him, there were no casualties.
