As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on Facebook by the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia.
At the upcoming event, the author will present his new book "War from the Backside," share insights about his volunteer activities, trips to the frontlines, the lives of soldiers, and the harsh realities of war. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book.
The event is scheduled for Sunday at 16:00. The Ukrainian House is located at: Strūgu iela 4, Rīga.
The embassy noted that Andriy Lyubka has many connections to Latvia. He was born in Rīga, where his mother studied at one time. In 2010, he was a guest and a scholarship recipient at the Ventspilshouse writers' residence. In 2020, he participated in the "Ukrainian Book Days in Rīga" and represented the Ukrainian delegation during the "Latvian Book Fair 2020."
It is worth mentioning that in 2024, Andriy Lyubka became the winner of the Joseph Conrad-Korzeniowski Literary Prize.
