In schools in Mariupol, the occupiers are intensifying propaganda efforts, glorifying militants and Russian invaders.
В школах Мариуполя оккупанты усиливают пропаганду, восхваляя боевиков и захватчиков.

This was reported in Telegram by the Mariupol City Council, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“At School No. 34, portraits of the militant of the 'DPR', Vladimir Zhog, were hung up. The educational institution was named after him. Children were dressed in Soviet uniforms and forced to recite poems about 'heroes who do not die.' Meanwhile, at School No. 4, children were taught about the 'liberator' of Mariupol, Russian Major General Vladimir Frolov, who was eliminated in March 2022. Now, the occupiers are glorifying the murderer of the city’s peaceful residents,” the report states.

It is noted that the occupiers have intensified their efforts to Russify children. In educational institutions, propaganda activities aimed at glorifying Russian invaders who destroyed the city are being intensified.

Thus, a month of military-patriotic education has been announced in the city, during which schools glorify militants and occupiers.

The city council also emphasized that the invaders are systematically attempting to alter the narratives surrounding the Russian invasion and justify the actions of Russian soldiers who deliberately destroyed Mariupol, bombed peaceful neighborhoods, and killed tens of thousands of people.

As reported, in November 2024, in the temporarily occupied by the Russian army Mariupol, a 'hero's desk' was opened in a school dedicated to the pro-Russian militant and terrorist Vladimir Zhozi.
