In Lviv, unknown individuals damaged 23 graves in the field of honorable burials at the Lychakiv Cemetery.

This was reported by Lviv City Council member Yevhen Boyko on Facebook, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“At 02:42 AM, vandals desecrated the graves of our Heroes in the honorable burial field #76 of the Lychakiv Cemetery. A total of 23 graves have been damaged,” Boyko noted.

According to his information, 17 graves of heroes of the Russo-Ukrainian war, 3 graves of political prisoners, and 2 graves of volunteers have been affected.

As per Yevhen Boyko, the relevant authorities have begun searching for the vandals, specifically reviewing footage from surveillance cameras.

As reported by Ukrinform, a woman suspected of desecrating the graves of fallen defenders of Ukraine Dmitro Kotsiubailo "Da Vinci," Andriy Pilshchikov "Jus," and Pavlo Petrychenko has been placed in a psychiatric hospital.
