As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Luhansk Regional State Administration on Facebook.
"In one of the industrial districts of Lysychansk, near an old mine, the occupiers have established a military polygon. The proximity to the residential area does not concern them. On the contrary, in the event of a strike on the facility, Russian propagandists will attempt to film a provocative story. They are indifferent to the lives of their own soldiers, let alone the local civilians," the administration stated.
The message also notes that residents of the so-called "LPR" are outraged by the latest tightening of the border crossing regime with the Russian Federation.
"It was promised to be lifted back in the autumn of 2022. However, since then, the situation has only worsened – thorough checks of documents, inspections of belongings, interrogations about relatives, purpose, and travel routes. Another such incident occurred at the border area in Markivka. The occupied Luhansk region remains a 'zone of alienation' for the Russians," the administration informed.
According to the head of the regional military administration, Artem Lysyhor, "yesterday the enemy attacked with the support of assault aviation. They attempted to advance near Tverdokhlibove, Nadiya, and Bilohorivka. They fired artillery of various types 15 times. The invaders directed 132 drones at the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders in the Luhansk region."
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian invaders are trying to lure teachers from the Russian Federation to Luhansk region with money.
