According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
As per the data from the Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City Administration, rescue units dismantled destroyed ceiling slabs weighing between 7 to 19 tons, cleared the debris, and removed hazardous structures.
In total, over 850 tons of construction waste were removed from the site of the damage.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the morning of January 1, debris from an enemy drone fell on an apartment building in the Pechersk district, partially destroying the top two floors and causing a fire. As a result of the Russian attack, two people lost their lives – Doctor of Biological Sciences, neurobiologist Ihor Zyma, and his wife, biochemist Olesya Sokur. The drone attack also affected 17 buildings and 250 apartments, including the National Bank, office spaces, and the building of the Union of Writers of Ukraine, which is located in the Lieberman estate, a historical, artistic, and architectural monument from 1879.
