This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind," as conveyed by Ukrinform.
"In Kerch, the coastline of the recreation area 'Turtle' is filled with barrels. They are tied together with a metal frame. The barrels are lying on the shore, and no one is cleaning them up. Previously, local residents used to dismantle such barrels on the city beach and take the metal for themselves," the message states.
It is noted that the sea has been washing these barrels ashore in various parts of the city for over a year after a storm tore apart Russian buoy barriers near the Kerch Bridge in November 2023.
Last week, a significant amount of foam from the buoy barrels washed up on the Kerch waterfront.
As reported by Ukrinform, the occupiers are using barrels from pickled cucumbers for the 'protection' of the Kerch Bridge, which are polluting the coastline.
