In Kherson, the aftermath of the nighttime and morning shelling of the city has been revealed.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant video was shared on Facebook by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
“The video shows the aftermath of the Russian shelling of Kherson. The enemy attacked the city last night and this morning,” the message states.
It is noted that due to the strikes, a vehicle, private homes, and apartment buildings were damaged. Inside the residences, walls and roofs are destroyed, and windows are shattered.
No information has been received regarding casualties among the residents.
The video of the shelling aftermath was also released by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochkо.
According to him, since early morning, social workers from the Kherson City Military Administration have been in contact with those affected by the evening and morning shelling in the Shipbuilding and Central districts.
The Military Administration reports that in the past day, Russian troops continued shelling the populated areas of the Kherson City territorial community. Under fire from enemy artillery and drones were Kherson, Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, and Pryozernе. As a result of the shelling of the Kherson City territorial community by the enemy army, one man was killed, and four people sustained injuries of varying severity.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops yesterday, January 8, struck 40 populated areas in the Kherson region, resulting in four deaths and ten injuries.
