The General Staff confirmed the strike on the Ryazan oil refinery.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on Facebook by the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.

“Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems, in collaboration with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Ryazan oil refinery in the Ryazan region on the night of February 24, 2025, which is involved in supporting the occupying Russian army,” the statement reads.

According to the information, there are reports of at least 5 explosions in the target area. Preliminary reports indicate that a fire broke out near the primary oil processing unit ELOU AT-6.

The results of the strike are being clarified.

Additionally, according to the press service, yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems also targeted an oil depot - a fire was recorded in the area of the FDKU "8 Marta" plant in the Tula region of Russia.

“Combat operations against strategic facilities involved in supporting Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine will continue,” the General Staff promised.

As Ukrinform previously reported, media outlets stated that strike drones hit the Ryazan oil refinery for the third time in 2025 around 3 a.m.
