Bulgaria has been unable to elect a stable government since 2020, following protests against corruption that led to the collapse of the coalition headed by the center-right GERB party, as noted by Reuters.
A Gallup International Balkans survey published on Friday by Bulgarian National Radio indicated that GERB leads with 26.1% of the votes, followed by the Reformist PP ("We Continue the Change") and the ultra-nationalist, pro-Russian party "Revival" with 16.2% and 14.9% of the votes, respectively.
As reported, Bulgaria held its sixth parliamentary elections in three years in June, as well as elections to the European Parliament.
