The Third World War is already underway, according to Budanov.

This was reported in an interview with Ukrinform by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov.

“This is a philosophical question; it depends on how you look at it. For me, yes, the overwhelming majority of the strongest and most developed countries in the world are involved, that’s just a fact,” he stated when asked whether the current war can be considered a Third World War.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK, former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, believes that with the direct involvement of North Korea and Iran as allies of Russia in the war against Ukraine, it can be considered that the Third World War has begun.
