Additionally, Russians have damaged 242 emergency medical vehicles, destroyed another 273, and stolen 80.

As noted by the Ministry of Health, according to estimates from the Ukrainian government, the World Bank, and the European Commission, the current needs of the healthcare sector are estimated at around 17 billion US dollars, of which short-term needs for 2024-2026 amount to 3.6 billion. However, in light of the ongoing missile terror, these needs are increasing.

Currently, 594 healthcare facilities have been fully restored, and another 370 partially restored. The most facilities have been rebuilt in Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. This refers to medical facilities in areas liberated from occupation, as well as those that sustained minor damage, such as broken windows, roof and facade damage, etc.

In 2024, thanks to global initiative support, the implementation of six renovation projects for medical facilities has commenced, three of which have been successfully completed.

As previously reported, a renovated general practice-family medicine ambulatory, which was damaged by the occupiers at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, was recently opened in the village of Zdvizhivka, Bucha community.
